You have a new Talend install that is using PostgreSQL for TAC DB config. You notice the following error when performing a check on the version:
500 The call failed on the server; see server log for details
The error is because of a permission issue of the user on the PostgreSQL DB. This is verified by manually logging in to Postgres and executing the command to create a test table.
Grant the user, in this scenario the user talenduser, access to the DB schema so they are able to create tables.

You may see this or a similar issue when trying to publish to a Nexus Release repository from Studio:
The Nexus Release repository has a setting that prevents redeployment. This prevents the same version of a Job from being published. This setting can be found in Releases > Configuration > Deployment Policy.
There are two possible solutions:
Update the Job version and publish.
Change the Deployment Policy value in Nexus to Allow Redeploy.
Navigate to your local Nexus folder (the default location is http://localhost:8091/nexus/).
Select Views/Repositories > Repositories.
Under Acess Settings, change the Deployment Policy to Allow Redeploy:
It's always advisable (though not required) to deploy or redeploy Jobs in Snapshot, and when the final build is ready, then deploy it to Releases.
