According to a customer case(00129176), it faces the same issue, and this case is a good example which brought by the Nexus server: Why is this happening? From the customer side, TAC has configured Nexus User Libraries in TAC Configuration page, Nexus sever(3.9.0-01) goes to limbo status, its process is running but it can not respond to any requests, Studio gets hang(the connection won't release without timeout mechanism) when Initialize Project Connection, the progress bar just stuck there with "Initialize Project Connection". How to fix? Just restart Nexus, make sure there is no issue of "Too many open files"(ulimit), make sure computation resources for nexus meet our recommended minimum.
