Re: sending data to azure data lake store with talend

Hello,

The errors shows that the connection is not established. You typically get this error message when you have not provided the correct credentials. I know that Azure recently changed their interface which can mislead when trying to setup ADLS.

In order to connect to ADLS you need to create a Service Principal in Active Directory:

Create a Service Principle – https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory/develop/howto-create-service-principal-porta...

Then you should give to your Service Principal access to your ADLS resource. A the end you should have these credentials:

  • client-id: An ID that uniquely identifies the client application.
  • directory-id: An ID that uniquely identifies the Azure AD instance.
  • service-credential: A string that the application uses to prove its identity.
  • Needed as well - OAUTH 2.0 TOKEN ENDPOINT
