Unable to connect to sandbox (localhost)

Hi. 

I've just imported Talend Sandbox.

I've started the VM, and the machine opens with FIREFOX, on url: http://sandbox/ ,

but I get the error: "Unable to connect"

 

What I have to do?

We have experienced issues with our container registry. We apologize for the inconvenience.

 

The issues should be resolved, I just have successfully setup a sandbox. Please restart your Virtual machine.

At start up time the VM launchs a service called  importwebapp.

This service failed in a docker pull as we can seen in the image.

How we can solve this problem?

I have the same problem and even though I have tryed to download different VM's at start up the error is the same.

The issue has been adressed. Please can you restart your Virtual Machine. The loading web application should be pulled correctly.

Now it's working fine. Hope I could see it working because now the http://sandbox its working and doing the pulling.

Good morning.

 

The VM is working because http://sandbox appears and begin doing the pulling.

 

Creates the projects for Talend, but when it finish appears a message to download the distribution of hadoop. When you select it, (in my case I tried Cloudera because of my experience with this distribution), right after some time, (5 minutes or so) appears the following message, Startup timed out - Please try to restart.

 

After trying to do it several times, the message still appears, and no clue of the pulling for the cloudera distribution. 

 

Also if you try to access the demos from the web page, localhost:8080/bank in the case, is not working at all.

 

I wil thank you if you can make a review of this issue. We are close to have it working.

Giant step Thibaut.

 

We are almost there, the cloudera is up and running and Talend seems to work fine with the demos.

 

Just one small thing to have it all.

 

The predictive maintenance scenario - Coffe Machine does not work

 

sends you to http://localhost:8080/coffee and it says that it does not exists. The rest of scenarios seems to work fine.

Hello @maperezinntsn

 

A link issue, please run this command in a terminal:

docker rmi -f talendinc/loading-webapp

Then restart your VM, you might need to type F5 to refresh the web page (because of the cache) and you should get the proper link which is: http://localhost:8080/vendingmachines instead of the coffee one.

Yes, for me it's all working.

The URL http://localhost:8080/vendingmachines works fine.

Hi Thibaut.

 

Yes, it's working fine now.

 

Just a bit of info for next changes, because sandbox web page is not updated so when selecting the Coffe Machine scenario still sends you to the old one and not to the vending machine.

 

Just for info.

 

Other thing that I have been solving during installation of the additional packages it's a bunch of .jar files that can't find and that are essential for the use of the sandbox.

I include a png with the jars requested even though the installation process hasn't finished yet.
