Problem Description

TAC is properly configured with SVN (shows green on TAC page > Settings > Configuration > SVN tab). However, Studio fails to log in to a remote project with the following error:

Caused by: java.lang.RuntimeException: org.talend.commons.exception.PersistenceException: org.tigris.subversion.javahl.ClientException: svn: E175002: connection refused by the server

Problem root cause TAC and SVN are running on the same host, and on TAC page > Settings > Configuration > SVN, the URL is set with localhost.
Solution or Workaround On TAC page > Settings > Configuration > SVN, replace localhost with the correct hostname (or IP) of the SVN server, even if TAC and SVN run on same machine. This URL will be passed by TAC to Studio, so Studio will use this URL to connect to SVN.
