Problem Description

While deploying a Job on a remote JobServer, you may encounter the following issue:

ERROR MultiSocketServer - java.net.SocketException: Connection reset

 

The following Stack trace was captured in the JobServer log:

Caused by: java.net.SocketException: Connection reset
at java.net.SocketInputStream.read(SocketInputStream

 

However, when analyzing the TAC technical log, you will notice the following exception:

javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException
Problem root cause

The issue is noticed even if no SSL is enabled at the server, and from Studio it is enabled.

Solution or Workaround

Ensure that Talend Studio > Windows Preference > Talend > Run/Debug > Remote > Enable SSL is set to False.
