Dear Team,
Thanks a lot. Studio issue is resolved and i am able to open the tool. But i am not able to create context group for a project or context variables for a job.
It doesn't show any error wherein it is blank/disabled in job level and no action on project (repository) level
Could you please guide me.
Thanks & Regards,
Ganesh.

Hi Thanga Ganesh
Have you switched to Integration perspective where you are able to create a DI job.

Best regards

Re: Unable to open TOS_MDM-Studio-20150702_1326-V6.0.0

Hi,
Yes. I changed to Integration perspective. I am able to create jobs. But i am not able to create any context variables.
Issue 1:  Not able to create any context variables
Issue 2:  When i run the job after creating, it shows the below error
Error: Could not find or load main class lnt_project.new_0_1.New

After my investigation, i could see that source (java code) file for the job i created is available under the following path
\workspace\.Java\src\main\java\\\*.java
But, i coudnt see any class files (compiled code) under the folder
\workspace\.Java\target\classes\
Is this Maven problem, or tool problem or any config issue ?
I am using Java 7 in my system.
Thanks & Regards,
Ganesh.

Re: Unable to open TOS_MDM-Studio-20150702_1326-V6.0.0

Dear Team,
I got the problems resolved in TOS for MDM 6.0. I am able to open tool, create jobs, execute and build.
But I am not able to create any context variables (not in project also not in job)
1. Project level (Repository) ---> When i right click and select "Create context group", no action happening
2. Job level ----> "Contexts" Window is blank. No option to create context variable.
Kindly guide me in resolving the issue.
Thanks & Regards,
Thanga Ganesh.

Thanga, could you please explain how you fixed the Error: Could not find or load main class lnt_project.new_0_1.New issue. We are encountering the same problem and have yet to see a fix.
Thanks,

Re: Unable to open TOS_MDM-Studio-20150702_1326-V6.0.0

Hi,
1. Install JDK 1.8
2. Set beflow paths correctly
      i. PATH
      ii. CLASSPATH
      iii. JAVA_HOME
3. Clear the *.lastUpdate files created in your C:\User\\.m2 folder while opening the tool
4. Edit maven_user_settings.xml file created under \TOS_MDM-Studio-20150702_1326-V6.0.0\configuration folder by adding below snippet.

true
http
{YOUR HOST}
{YOUR PORT}

5. Edit org.eclipse.ui.ide.prefs file under \TOS_MDM-Studio-20150702_1326-V6.0.0\configuration\.settings folder and add below snippet
org.eclipse.core.net.hasMigrated=true
proxyData/HTTP/hasAuth=false
proxyData/HTTP/host=
proxyData/HTTP/port=
proxyData/HTTPS/hasAuth=false
proxyData/HTTPS/host=
proxyData/HTTPS/port=
systemProxiesEnabled=false
6. Restart the tool. Install all the new features/updates Talend tried to install (Would require frequent restart)
7. Add Jdk path under Windows--->Preferences--->Java---->Installed JREs
8. Restart the tool
Now, it should work. You must be able to see class files under TOS_MDM-Studio-20150702_1326-V6.0.0\workspace\.Java\target\classes\\\   after creating a job.

Hi  Ganesh
I made a testing with TOS for mdm 6.0 and I was able to create a context variable. see my screenshot.

I am on windows 7 64-bit with JDK 7 64-bit, have you tried to re-install studio? Can you upload the log file which is located in /workspace/.metadata/?

Re: Unable to open TOS_MDM-Studio-20150702_1326-V6.0.0

Hello  Ganesh
It seems like a bug on windows 7 32-bit, I don't have a windows 7 32-bit for doing a testing right now. I would suggest you to report a jira issue our bugtracker, in the mean time, you can find another machine to install it, 64-bit's machine is recommended, refer to the compatible platform and JDK environment.
