tMysqlSCD & Update Type 1 & 2

Hi,

I have issue when I Use tMysqlScd with type 1 & 2 columns.

Exemple :

Sur KeyBusKeyCity (Type 1)Mail (type 2) Flag
1adamNYadam@telco.com 1

If I had new line with change with City & Mail, the information "NY" is lost.

Sur KeyBusKeyCity (Type 1)Mail (type 2)Flag
1adamSAadam@telco.com0
2adamSAadam.sa@telco.com1

The result I expected was

Sur KeyBusKeyCity (Type 1)Mail (type 2)Flag
1adamNYadam@telco.com0
2adamSAadam.sa@telco.com1

Therefore, if i Had new line, all type 1 were updated like a Type 6

Sur KeyBusKeyCity (Type 1)Mail (type 2)Flag
1adamLAadam@telco.com0
2adamLAadam.sa@telco.com0
3adamLAadam.la@telco.com1

Tks dasari16

You use City as Type 2, in my case City is Type 1.

To explain more my case

Sur KeyBusKeyCity (Type 1)Mail (type 2) Flag
1adamNYadam@telco.com 1

If I had new line with change only with City (NY to SA) I expected only update

Sur KeyBusKeyCity (Type 1)Mail (type 2)Flag
1adamSAadam@telco.com1

If I had change in City AND Mail, I expected only update on FLAG, start_date for last row and new values for new rows

Sur KeyBusKeyCity (Type 1)Mail (type 2)Flag
1adamNYadam@telco.com0
2adamSAadam.sa@telco.com1

if you use City as type1,then you will always have latest city.you may need to change city to type2.
