right-click to connect components together in linpus gives popup menu

I just downloaded Talend today, looks fantastic...
but working through the 5 minute tutorial I'm stuck already
Trying to create a job. loading a csv file, then displaying it on the screen--->
when I try to right click on the file to drag it to connect to the tLogRow, the right click pops up the contextual menu and I cannot drag and drop. Oh no!! a hard look in the documentation found nothing that would help.
Is there another way to link components?
Can anybody tell me what this eager noob is doing wrong?
I'm running this on an acer aspire one on linpus light, java updated, latest version of Talend downloaded and installed this morning.
many thanks

Hi
Please post your solution. This app misses an intuitive connector icon that's easily seen from the GUI Smiley Sad

Re: right-click to connect components together in linpus gives popup menu

Please right click on the component that you want to connect, Then Click Row->main now a line will be displayed and just drop that line into the destination component.
