Excel file has two lines and tmap output has 93411 rows but the output of tunit has only 7708 rows and no error  message.

Hi,
Are your outputs common schema? Could you please also show us your tUnite component schema setting screenshot?

Hi,
Have you checked the scenario @ https://help.talend.com/search/all?query=tUnite
Your output from tMap is not matching using Key columns..

Re: [resolved] tunit and merging Excel files

It seems that the output of tunite is OK but the numbers from the output of tmap (it is the number of the main)  are wrong.
I try to reproduce with a small set of datas

Re: [resolved] tunit and merging Excel files

Actually, no time to set the POC but with the screenshot, clearly the output of tmap is wrong. It is the number of lines of the main table of the tmap instead the number of lines after processing

You have the left outer join inside tMap... change it to inner join for appropriate tables...

Re: [resolved] tunit and merging Excel files

Sorry but all is OK, only the count of the tMap output is wrong. It should be 7706 instead 93411.
tunit adds 2 rows and 7706 rows (instead 93411 displayed) and produce 7708 rows: it is OK

numbers are wrong but the output is correct. It should be a great feature to have good numbers

Hi,
Could you please re-create a new job and replicate your current work flow to see if it is OK with you? What's your build version?

Re: [resolved] tunit and merging Excel files

OK, I create a new and very small job.
Input, two excel files:
1. /tmp/header.xls with only one line : 1
2. /tmp/body.xls with 20 lines starting from 50 to 69
tmap is a simple copy of body and has two identical output: one to tunite et another one to tlogrow
first run: without filters to tmap and the output of tmap for tunit displays 20 rows , it is OK
second run: filter with row1.cpt < 55, so I have  5 lines (50-54) and tmap displays 20 lines: it is wrong but tunit displays output of 6 lines, it is correct. Note  it is OK for tlogrow

Re: [resolved] tunit and merging Excel files

Hi,
We got the same result on Version: 5.5.1. Could you please create a workItem Jira issue of DI project on Talend Bug Tracker?
