[resolved] license update

I need to update talend license. (we are on a temp license and received the new license yesterday).
But I can't get to TAC because - when i try to login to TAC, I am redirected not to the login form page but the database configuration page prompting me for password. Screenshot attached. Can you please tell me what this means?
And our production environment has jobs scheduled - will they run before the license is updated?

Hi,
DB config page's password is different from TAC's. The default one is "admin". You can check it in document TalendHelpCenter: Setting up your Talend Administration Center configuration back.

Did you change some DB config? Can you use default password admin to login?
And our production environment has jobs scheduled - will they run before the license is updated?

Is your old license expired? If it is, your scheduled job in TAC cannot be run normally.

db config on a qa job server may have changed. i have administrator rights - but my password doesn't work. Is a default password admin different?

Thanks! that password worked! but then it doesn't allow me to upload a license when I try to browse to the license file.

For your license update issue, we would suggest you to connect to the Support portal and log your request, so that we can give you a remote assistance with priority through the support cycle.

thanks done! One last question though.
I have been able to manual/y update the license on talend commandline. Do you know if that would let the currently scheduled jobs to run? Or does it require a new license on the TAC for it to run?

Hi,
Updating the license on talend commandline will let you generate job. You'd better update license on TAC as well to make sure that TAC is consistant with Commandline.
