Passing data to tHmap

Hi All,

I am using Talend DI Version 6.2.1

As we know to work with EBCDIC we have to use TDM.

My Question is:

I can create structure using COBOL importer. Maps can be used to map data from Input Structure to output Structure, but that does not provide me any capability to read the data and then use that data in any other component to perform any kind of transformation on data.

Can someone tell me how to pass a EBCDIC file data to tHmap?

Re: Passing data to tHmap

Hi,

You can for example read your EBCDIC file on file system with tFileInputRaw component and then call your tHmap component.

Re: Passing data to tHmap

Hello,

The EBCDIC components have been deprecated and replaced by Talend Data Mapper.
The old components have been published on Talend Exchange (https://exchange.talend.com/) and are provided as is, without support from Talend for version 6.0+

Best regards

Sabrina
