Get a return value from a tRunJob in independent process

Does DI Studio provide a way to return a value from a tRunJob which runs as an independent process?
I need to get back a string from a "dynamic" child job. Those are called as independent processes. I think there's no way to pass in something like a HashMap that the child job could populate and the parent job could read. And the parent can't read a tBufferOutput that the child writes to.
So a parent job could pass in a file location to write out a value. Or a URL to submit the value to, something like that. Is there any other channel of communication you'd normally use?

Re: Get a return value from a tRunJob in independent process

Hi
when tRunJob runs in an independent process, it can't extract datas from tBufferOutput of child job, because the parent job and the child job are run in different JVM, if you have to use an independent process to run the child job, write the value to a file system on local disk, and then read it from file in parent job.
