Force timeout abort in long running jobs in TAC

We have a few jobs that from time to time run much longer than expected. This can be due to changes in our source database that we have no control over. When this happens jobs that usually take ten minutes run for over ten hours until someone notices.
Is there a way to force a timeout in TAC? Ideally we would like to set a time limit on these jobs so that the job aborts and sends an email notification if it runs longer than expected.
Thanks,
Chris

Not TAC but see my same question for job design: http://www.talendforge.org/forum/viewtopic.php?pid=53738.

Thanks I saw your post earlier. I was hoping that a new feature had been implemented in Talend that would not require modification of the job.
I saw some posts about using the additional parameter field on the connection context. Does anyone have the syntax for Oracle?
