FTPFileProperties return error for existing file, null for existing

I'm trying to just list the properties of one file to the log. I've created a job with tFTPFileProperties -> tLogRow.
If I run the job with a file that I know exists, I get a file does not exist error.
If I run the job with a file I know doesn't exist (any garbage text) if get back a null result.
I tested the connection information using a tFTPFileProperties -> Iterate -> tLogRow using
the same information and the file shows up in the log. I'm sure I'm missing something simple, so any help or clarification would be
greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Re: FTPFileProperties return error for existing file, null for existing

Hello
I tested the connection information using a tFTPFileProperties -> Iterate -> tLogRow using

First, tLogRow is output component, so you can't link a 'iterate' connector to a output component.
Exception in component tFTPFileProperties_1
com.enterprisedt.net.ftp.FTPException: './test.zip' : no such file or directory

As the message shows, the file does not exist, please check the file path.
If there is a file under the home dir of the user, set the remote directory as: . or ./
file name: test.zip
Best regards

Hi dlucchesi
I don't understand your problem, can you explain it more? BTW, this topic is very old, I suggest you to open a new topic for your problem.
Thank you!
Shong
