If you are getting constant warning message in TalendESB, you can ignore them:

Warning: java.lang.reflect.UndeclaredThrowableException (org.eclipse.jetty.util)
(/system/console/bundles). broken pipe

Environment

TalendESB

Symptoms/Description

Constant warning on tesb.log namely
WARN | tp2029485198-177 | pse.jetty.servlet.ServletHandler 514 | 54 - org.eclipse.jetty.util - 7.6.7.v20120910 | /system/console/bundles
java.lang.reflect.UndeclaredThrowableException

at java.lang.Thread.run(Thread.java:662)[:1.6.0_33]
Caused by: java.lang.reflect.InvocationTargetException

Caused by: org.eclipse.jetty.io.EofException
at org.eclipse.jetty.http.HttpGenerator.flushBuffer(HttpGenerator.java:914)

Caused by: java.io.IOException: Broken pipe
at sun.nio.ch.FileDispatcher.write0(Native Method)[:1.6.0_33].

Resolution

Though you can ignore this warning, it could be flooding the logs. A workaround is to filter out these specific WARN messages. Do this by adding the following line to the container\etc\org.ops4j.pax.logging.cfg file:

log4j.logger.org.eclipse.jetty.servlet=ERROR
