Data partitioning in talend open studio

Can I partition my data in talend open studio from table based upon list, range, hash as done in oracle table partition.

Informatica has this option to partition data in multiple pipelines based upon range, list etc.

Re: Data partitioning in talend open studio

Talend is DI tool , so no storage partition applicable here.

if You want to partition the data flow , Below could be helpful :

Re: Data partitioning in talend open studio

Hi,

     You can provide the necessary commands in tOracleRow once you give the details of partitions in those commands.

Re: Data partitioning in talend open studio

Thanks Nikhil,

But i would like to know if talend open studio supports partitioning at it own, without using any database partition. Is it possible?

@singhg

Talend do not create, modify or delete partitions of its own. We give that control to developers to decide about partitions.
