I want to read data from one schema and insert into another schema.
Both Source and target tables are already created on both schema.
I am just passing the table name one by one and by using Dynamic datatype reading data from source table and inserting into the target table. Its working fine with table does not have Identity field but I am facing issue if Table have Identity field with auto generated value.
Please suggest me the solution for this issue.
I know SQLServer output component having the property for "Turn On Identity Insert" but DB2 output component does not have any such property, please suggest.
Could you please verify whether the identity columns yo have configured in DB2 is having GENERATED ALWAYS clause or is it having GENERATED BY DEFAULT?
If it is not having GENERATED ALWAYS clause, could you please reconfigure the DB2 table to GENERATED ALWAYS clause and give it a try?
Thanks for your reply.
I have verified that the Identity column have configured with GENERATED ALWAYS clause itself and I am not able to insert rows through Talend tDB2Output component. Please suggest if you have any other solution.
