Can a root element with children be set as the "loop element" in tXMLMap?

Answer

When doing a mapping in tXMLMap, the "loop element" cannot be set on the root element of the XML tree if the root element has at least one child element and/or attribute. In that case, the loop element is invalid, and only the first row of input rows is output in the response message.

To fix it, change your Request/Response message structure accordingly, and set another element as the "loop element", rather than the root element.
