there is a journal which keeps track of all the changes made. Click on the journal section on the interface to see the details.

Re: Audit trail of changes made in MDM

Hi cmak,
Update reports are intended to store every change made on a record in the MDM hub, via the Web UI, a workflow (for MDM EE) or a tMDMOutput component (given the "with report" option was selected).
As muraliv says, you can browse this data in the "journal" menu of the Web UI, or you can even directly read the data stored in the UpdateReport system data container, using either the Studio or a job with a tMDMInput component.

Cyril.

Re: Audit trail of changes made in MDM

thank you very much for the replies. the update report captures the data changes. it does not show the schema changes. is there a way i can tell when and what the schema (data structure) got changed, such as an entities got dropped, elements got added or removed, or changed,...? thank you.

Re: Audit trail of changes made in MDM

cmak,
Talend MDM EE gives you the ability to connect to a SVN server, in order to take snapshots of any MDM object or data. This way, you can historize both configuration/data, by commiting changes in different revisions.
