How to sort dataset by particular column name in ascending or descending order

Is there any function available in data preparation by which I can fullfill the requirement as mentioned in subject line ?

If yes, how or what is that function ?

If no, here is my suggestion :

There must be the column function for sorting the whole dataset/table by particular column in ascending or descending order, just similar to the result of following SQL query -

SELECT * FROM dataset ORDER BY column_name ASC/DESC

Thanks Smiley Happy

Re: How to sort dataset by particular column name in ascending or descending order

Hi,

So far, unfortunately, you cannot sort a dataset by a particular column. That is of course a feature we already identified and that we will deliver in a future version.

Future version means can I expect this feature in next release ?

No, it will not be available in the very next one, which is planned for EOF June/BOF July. There is no committed date so far.
