tFileOutputPositional and boolean values

Why does the tFileOutputPositional component convert Boolean values into the words "true" and "false", even though Talend itself (correctly) defines booleans as one-character fields?

The consequence of this is that the tFileInputPositional component is incapable of reading the output from the tFileOutputPositional component. This is absurd.

Is this going to be fixed in a later release?

Re: tFileOutputPositional and boolean values

Hi

Boolean type in Talend inherits from JAVA.

Could you show me some error log of it?
Or just upload a screenshot?
