[resolved] tFileFetch (passing variable on another sub-job)

hello

i work with

tFileFetch
|
on componentOk
|
tFileInputRegex ---main---> tmap ...and so on

I want to pass the uri of tFileFetch to the tmap (finalURL_tFileFetch_1 variable of tFileFetch) but this one finalURL_tFileFetch_1 is not known in tmap).

I think that i have to use globalmap, but i don't know how ... : the only way i know is to use tjavarow, but tFileFetch has no entry, and
the tFileFetch -- main -->tJavaRow is in error (tFileFetch as no entry ...)

thanks for an idea

Re: [resolved] tFileFetch (passing variable on another sub-job)

Hello ,
If I'm correct, you need to pass the same URI(which you used in tFileFetch)?
for that you can use a context variable.
create a context variable for holding the URI and you can use the same variable in your tMap.

hello

thanks for your response

i'm ok, but globalmap or context, i don't know how to use it in the only one tfilefetch ...

I am still new in the use of TOS ... and the only way, for me and at the moment, is to use tjavarow ...

you can create a context group by following this link

Re: [resolved] tFileFetch (passing variable on another sub-job)

It seems perfect; I am going to apply it.

It also answers the other questions that I had.

Thank you also for the link, which calls back that tutoriaux always is to be seen and to be revised again...
