[resolved] SPSS Integration

Hello,
I run talend on a 64bit OS and it is not possible to use the SPSS Integration (Read an Write to SPSS-Files). I found in the Internet a Workaround for that Topic:
--------------------------------------------------------------
To do so, perform the following:
[list=1]
  • Open the relevant Job in the workspace.

  • Click the Run tab and enter the Advanced settings view.

  • Select the Use specific JVM arguments check box and click the New... button.

  • In the Set the VM argument box, enter -d32 and click OK for validation.

  • ---------------------------------------------------------------
But this doesn't work for me, because after this steps I receive the message, that it is not possible to run in a 64bit Environment a 32bit.
Does this Workaround work for somebody?
    Thanks in advance,
    Fabian

    Re: [resolved] SPSS Integration

    Hi,

Could you please also install 32 bit JDK in your machine so that you can use 32 bit platform to read 32-bit .dll. not 64 bit.

-d32 is added into JVM setting to tell studio to use 32 bit platform to read 32-bit .dll.
Let me know if it is OK with you.

    Best regards

    Hi,

I installed the 32bit Java Version and tried it again and still get the same error message. Should I uninstall the 64Bit Version or should I Switch somewhere the Java versions?

    Re: [resolved] SPSS Integration

    Hi,

Did you open TOS_DI-win32-x86.exe(32 bit) or TOS_DI-win-x86_64.exe(64 bit)? You should add -d32 into TOS_DI-win-x86_64.exe(64 bit) VM argument.
For TOS_DI-win32-x86.exe(32 bit), there is no modification.

    Hi,

You have already installed Spssio.dll or Spssio32.dll inside your system32 or Talend directory? Is your TOS_DI-win32-x86.exe(32 bit)working well?

    Best regards

    Re: [resolved] SPSS Integration

You are the best. I only copied both files in my TOSDI-Folder and used the 32bit exe and know the tool can read my spss files ;-)
    It works....

Thank you, thank you, thank you....
