Talend command line: calling a .sh script with parameters

Hello Talend Forum,

Currently I use the talend command line by calling a script
./Talend-Studio-linux-gtk-x86_64 -nosplash -application org.talend.commandline.CommandLine -consoleLog -data commandline-workspace scriptFile runScript

This command calls my scriptFile named runScript which performs actions like initRemote, logonProject, export etc..

How can I pass parameters from the talend command line script to the runScript?

adding to scriptFile runscript $FOO $BAR does not work

Thank you very much!

add at the end of your script $* and now the additional parameters will be added to your command.

Not sure I understand correctly, but if you are trying to automate your build/deploy process, you can write a talend job to dynamically write the run script then call it with a tSystem. Your job can even deploy itself. Smiley Happy

Hi Jlolling,

Is there any component to call shell script (which itself calls another file) into our talend Job..Kindly reply me ASAP.
Thanks,
