Re: Error - org.eclipse.emf.codegen.jet.JETException

Version: 3.0.0.RC1_17904.
I have exactly the same message.
It happened when I exported the db and the LDAP connection as context.
But no solution yet !

Re: Error - org.eclipse.emf.codegen.jet.JETException

Thank you.
When the variable for the password for a connection is automatically generated as context, the type is "Password".
I modified it and put "String".
Then it's OK.

Re: Error - org.eclipse.emf.codegen.jet.JETException

I seem to have cured many of the issues I had previously by switching to Perl projects from Java.

Re: Error - org.eclipse.emf.codegen.jet.JETException

Hi cagey76,
the message is a result of an error in the code generator. The generator between java and perl is nearly completely different. This explains why the issue is solved (and perl is not as typesafe as java).
Did you follow the link provided by shong? Did you found any information in the logfile?
Bye

Re: Error - org.eclipse.emf.codegen.jet.JETException

Hi,
In case this may help someone.
Today I received the same error, even I haven't changed anything in Talend.
This error was for all the jobs when trying to run or export them.
Execution failed : Failed to generate code.
After I restarted the computer, everything worked fine again.
