My local client IP (use Talend studio develop job)--192.168.1.102.
My TAC server IP-- 192.168.1.103.
When I running a job in local client of Talend studio. And the studio Job Settings "use logs" choice "On Files"
Just like photo1. After job run sucessed. And I also can find the output file logs_file.csv on 192.168.1.102.
But when I build this job, put to TAC(192.168.1.03). And running on TAC.After job run successed on TAC.
But I can't find the output file logs_file.csv.
Why? Who can help me. Thank you very much. Waiting online.
first of all - check user permissions, by default /usr/local available only for root:
ls -l /usr drwxr-xr-x 13 root root 4096 Jun 29 16:34 local
and if you try
touch /usr/local.test.csv touch: cannot touch '/usr/local.test.csv': Permission denied
you will have error
check username for your job server, create dedicated folder for logs and grant permissions for this user
I have one more question want to ask you.
Can I use the same output logs_file with two different parallel Talend Job on TAC.
yes, you can, but in this case better redirect it to database table - will be more easy select data
also, you can with same string in Project settings create a unique file for each job,
in this case you will have separate log files for any future jobs
